Summer is officially here! In looking to up my swimsuit game, I came across some uber cute pieces that I want to share with my readers. While many of us will probably stay more local than in the years past, buying a new swimsuit for the season is always a great pick-me-up. My favorite trends for Summer 2020 are:

  • 80’s style high rise

    • The Beverly ribbed bikini briefs – Love this retro-style bikini brief that can be worn with a mismatched top for fun!

    • Adjustable high rise swim brief – We all obsess over Spanx and the amazing coverage it provides, so why not invest in a SPANX high rise brief to sculpt your body while you are lounging on the beach? Black is my favorite color to wear, not only because its chic but also has a slimming component

  • Cut-out

    • Nina one-piece – Tularose sells some of my favorite bathing suits. This pink cut-out number is sure to heat things up. Also, avails in black and L’orange

    • Cut-out one-piece color block – I am a big fan of J.Crew for their cut and quality. I also have purchased a few bathing suits from them over the years and can’t say enough good things. I recommend this Orange-Fuchsia Combo

  • One-piece with a belt

    • The Nina belted ribbed swimsuit – This ribbed swimsuit with a belt is a great addition to your collection. I especially love the tortoiseshell belt buckle

  • Halter-neck

    • Oséree – I HAD to add this halterneck swimsuit with bling by Oséree dubbed “unapologetically glamorous.” Those who know me understand my love for a bling-ed out cocktail dress. Why should it be any different with swimwear?

    • Marios Schwab – This halter-neck cut-out number is perfect for lounging poolside at JIMMY at The James Hotel New York. Don’t forget the gold accessories and Le Specs!

The swimwear line this season seems to be a bit more covered up with long sleeve tops, high-rise bottoms, and one-piece suits the say chic and subtle. It’s always nice to leave a few things up to the imagination!
