I love a great quality handbag. I believe if you are going to carry something with you every day and place your wallet, keys, make-up, etc. it should be something you are in love with! This season’s bags are incredible and recommend a couple that adds a pop of color – especially if you tend to wear a lot of black or grey (like me). I also threw in a classic bag from Strathberry for good measure.
KP’s Bag Picks
Bottega Veneta Baguette Pouch Shoulder Bag – I recommend this bag because I like the slim strap, chic look, and abundance of color choices. I personally would get this in pink – it’s fierce! The magnetic closure is also a plus!
Acne Studios Maxi Musubi Bag – Acne studios has been on my radar recently. This beautiful Italian shoulder bag features twisted knots inspired by Japanese obi sashes.
Marni Logo Stamp Tote – This structured bag is great for essentials and the black/red combo is incredibly chic. It’s a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down.
Strathberry Bucket Tote – I’ve had my eye on this bucket tote from Strathberry for a minute. I’ve always been a huge fan of the label and own a crossbody in grey that gets many compliments. I recently purchased this bag in burgundy from Saks Fifth Avenue for less than $280 (not $555!!). You also cannot go wrong with Alice Blue.
Balenciaga Hourglass S Top Handle – I LOVE THE SHAPE of this bag – it’s a form of art that looks ultra sophisticated. The hourglass shape and curvilinear base blend well together and don’t look awkward. Also has an adjustable strap – the forest green is my personal favorite.
Nanushka Jen Top-Handle – This is a fairly young brand founded in 2005 by London College of Fashion graduate Sandra Sandor. I recommend the off-white. It’s a classic staple piece for your wardrobe and at a great price – $243 from farfetch.com
